Scary live drawing

impulse To find this collaborative drawing tool, I stumbled upon Drawball that left me wordless (see an example). After some further random surfing, I got to this naked directory tree that hides lovely sketches!

The need for a Tumblelog

“The bearing of a child takes nine months, no matter how many women are assigned.” Via A Billion Monkeys Can’t Be Wrong. I booked my flight for Barcelona for September. I have never booked a flight so much time ahead. By the way I am seriously considering to participate to the Erasmus program for next year.

The complexity of jotting down a map

The Night CityThis post at SvN turned on the light on a problem I had never thought about: public transport maps. I think the proposed solutions apply expecially to subway systems, in that accuracy of paths through the city can be left off in favour of more usable/readable maps.
It’s nice to see how in fact we are used to vertical/horizontal/45 degress mappings without this affecting our effort to decode the map.
Sometimes it’s nice to watch with new eyes everyday things.

Oh he did it again ...

A dream 3 mins long #2

The first time they changed the HD. Now they changed the mother board. Nevertheless the laptop freezes after 3 mins during first use. Now it’s back to assistence again.

It’s not embedded, it’s not a stand-alone app, it’s GTalk-alone.

Find your "inner tortoise"

I started my day watching this TED video about slowing down our frenetic lives. If you feel always in a hurry or if you tend to fill up your days and life with lot of stuff to do just to feel “alive”, watching the video is a good start to realize there is a big need to refactor your priorities. Have a nice Tuesday!
