Next time

{{381795257}}Next time you sit down to write the next widely used web-app, please, please jot down some interface sketches BEFORE even trying to tackle the problem from a programming perspective.
This is the second time it happens to me: I get up a working basic version of my idea. With “working” I mean it shows the intended behaviour with correct input. With “basic” I mean its interface would make a 2-years old yell and cry for hours.
Then I don’t get after this step. It’s like from my mind point of view the challenge is over, the puzzle is complete.

I agree. Having the interface designed before I begin helps me focus on having a good interface when the project is done.

By the way, great Drupal theme!

It’s a matter of motivation I guess. Or expectations. After “It works” maybe the brain thinks you are “arrived”.
Thanks for taking time to comment.
As for the theme, I am planning to go “essential” very soon with a very poor and simple design.
